The sub-commissions Accreditations and Stands have delivered. Demand exceeded supply.
About 300 stands granted out of 200 planned, a record that predicts the enthusiasm around the 28th FESPACO.
Stands in the premises of FESPACO headquarters are only for media and other festival’s partners.
There are two other exhibition sites, Place de la Nation and former Camp Fonctionnaire. The latter is opposite the Cathedral and is reserved for pubs and restaurants. The site of Place de la Nation is for exhibition of art objects and pottery.
More than a dozen countries are involved in these exhibitions with the largest delegations coming from Mali, Senegal and Niger.
Abby Ouattara from the Accreditations Commission reassures that all the badges have been given out.
