Synopsis
The story takes place in modern-day Burkina Faso. Madi, a child from a small village, is confronted with illness at a very young age and his parents do everything they can to save his life, even if it means going into debt. Thanks to their love and devotion, they allow him to recover. When Madi reaches 20 years old, they are always at his side to offer him a good education and help him to enter the working life with all the assets of success. So why does Madi disown them to the point of cutting them out of his life as soon as he reaches this goal despite all the sacrifices they have made for him? And when illness catches up with him and ruin hits, will he finally understand that family and health are far more precious than money?
