Ribbon – Cutting – ceremony of FESPACO Pro/MICA 2023
The 21st edition of the African International Film and Audio-visual Market (MICA) was officially launched yesterday 26 February 2023 by Minister of Crafts Mr Abdoulaye TALL. For 5 days, producers, directors, distributors and broadcasters will meet around the film and television industry.
Since 2013, Mrs Awoua KEITA, representing Cote Ouest company based in Côte d’Ivoire, has attended MICA. Film distributer, Cote Ouest company is in the process of prospecting for programmes, and Mrs KEITA is hoping to meet as many directors and producers as possible because she is looking for content to distribute in Africa and around the world.
Mr Serge Dimitri PITROIPA, Managing Directeur of Pit PROD, came to MICA with a Burkinabe animated film Tempête dans une calebasse and is looking for distributors. With 98 stands, MICA offers real opportunities for the film market in Africa and beyond. marché des films d’Afrique et d’ailleurs.
