Synopsis
Who was Frantz Fanon and what is his present legacy? Psychiatrist, decolonization activist, author of the book Les damnés de la terre, Fanon died in December 1961, but his thoughts still irrigate many battlegrounds across the world. How is the thinker and man of action perceived by those fighting against injustice and arbitrariness? The film takes us on a journey from Fanon’s home country to the hotbeds of political and social struggles through the land where he was buried, giving the floor to activists about their fight and their relationships with author.

Professional photographer Hassane MEZINE was born in 1972. After working with AFP Photo and France Soir, he became a freelance photographer. Il is also a trainer in digital photography and Multimedia in Paris, and monitors social news in France and abroad.
