Artistic Stages, 111 Artists to Perform

The two artistic stages set up for the event will meet all expectations according to the President of the Ceremonies and Entertainment Commission.

Artistic stages have always played a major role in FESPACO’s organization as they help brighten up nights after screenings and provide an opportunity for festival-goers, music lovers and people to meet. The 28th edition is no exception to this.
According to Evariste Combary, President of the Ceremonies and Entertainment Commission, two artistic stages will be set up in Ouagadougou including one at former Camp fonctionnaire and another one at Kwame Nkrumah Avenue.
111 artists, humourists, singers and slammers will perform live and playback. The stages have always been a boon for people as they offer free and open-air shows.
