Synopsis
Yeli is full of love for her husband Opior, who was wounded in an attack on the front. Strengthened by their past, the couple fights to restore their promise of a happy life.
Biography
Marie Laurentine Bayala studied Communication and Journalism at the University of Ouagadougou. After her master’s degree, she began film studies at Gaston Berger University, obtaining a Master 2 in documentary filmmaking. She has directed, among others, Amour sans frontières (2007, Spanish Foundation Award for Audio-visual Investigation); Jusqu’au bout (2010, Sergio Viera de Mello Award for Human Rights at Ciné-droit-libre Festival); Au fantôme du père (2018, Audience Award at the Festival of Cultural Identities).
