The Yennenga Connexion is the gateway par excellence for collaboration between FESPACO and the reference mechanisms for supporting the creation of African cinema. It is composed of three spaces which are the Development Labs, the dedicated funds and the specific mechanisms of film production.
The Development Labs
A device emerging on the African continent, are intended to be a framework for identifying and supporting film projects in development as part of a real incubator.
Dedicated funds
Stammering, or even non-existent in the past decade, funds dedicated to the financing of African cinema, also called windows, seem to become the panacea on the continent or outside.
Specific production mechanisms
A physical platform for discovering innovative practices in the accompaniment of a film project, from the writing to the finalization of the film.
