Synopsis

Khalil SALMA is a versatile self-taught artist of pictorial expression. She is a photojournalist and a consultant in graphic design, but she is also a visual artist. She draws her inspiration from the secular cultures of Africa and that of her country in particular. As a designer, she integrates her ancestral signature in her works where innovation and art are mixed. While working as a computer graphics designer in a cell phone company, she discovered the first basics of balloon animation through her curiosity. She who has always made frozen images, discovers through this learning an innovative experience.

In 2018, she trains herself through tutorials she finds on the Internet and gradually adapts a childhood tale into an animated film that she entitled “Queen of Guera” in homage to this mythical mountain of her native land, symbol of goodness as well as authenticity in the feminine. He is a young entrepreneur, producer and director of 3d animation films, obtained his advanced diploma in 3D animation technology at Accel Animation Academy in India in the years 2008- 2010 after his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science obtained also in 2010 at Bangalore University in India. His professional life begins at Accel Animation Studios in Chennai (India) as a 3D VFX Artist. He will also be a 3D Trainer in Thailand in 2013 and then return during the same year in Ivory Coast to found The Brain Studios which is a studio specialized in 3D animation, special effects and commercials.

Synopsis

Cheick Ahmadou Ouattara was born in 1978 in Bamako, Mali. In Bamako Badalabougou, he did his primary studies. Passionate about drawing and graphic design, which he got from a mother who was a math teacher and a father who was an engineer and architect, he was selected among the best in drawing in Bamako for a two-year accelerated training by the Koreans. He then did his secondary studies at the Lycée Cheikh Anta Diop de Faso Kanu in Bamako where he obtained his Baccalaureate in exact sciences with top prizes in drawing. He continued his higher education at the Faculty of Sciences of Bamako (Sciences of the matter), where he fell in love with cinema and computer graphics. With his knowledge in mathematics (D.E.U.G in higher mathematics) and a self-taught formation in graphic oriented development, he created a company ” Virtual 3D Communication ” specialized in special effects FX cinema and 3D animation for advertising and cinema. His first scenarios were in the field of advertising for large structures such as L’Oréal Morocco, Sony Morocco (in 3D spots). He has to his credit educational films (3D animation film to raise awareness in rural areas) for some NGOs and also for the national channel of Mali.
